Growing the College | HARBISON THEATRE AT MTC
> Through partnerships with the Irmo Chapin Recreation Commission and School District 5 of Lexington and Richland Counties, and through programs such as National Theatre Live, Harbison Theatre served as a first or early experience with MTC for nearly 700 kindergarten through twelfth grade students.
> This season, MTC unveiled the Harbison Theatre Art Gallery, featuring work created by MTC students and by professional visual artists living in our service area.
Making Lives Better | HARBISON THEATRE AT MTC
> In 2015-2016, Harbison Theatre at MTC doubled the size of its Signature Series, offering 22 professional performances, talks, and screen events.
> The HT@MTC Performance Incubator produced “Ruins,” the incubator’s fourth new production featuring a professional performer based in the college’s service region. Incubator performances premiere at Harbison Theatre but are designed for touring. Featured performers tour their productions indefinitely, contributing to the viability of a sustainable career as a professional performer based in the Midlands.
