IBS Journal January 2016
Welcome to the first 2016 edition of IBS Journal, the flagship monthly publication of IBS Intelligence.
Now in its 25th year (has it been that long indeed!), the journal and its contents are as top quality as they have always been, exploring all the hot topics in the banking technology space worldwide.
IBS Journal also has a new regular section, dedicated to digital banking software and solutions. Who is ex- periencing digital woes (hint: it is a well-known bank that starts with ‘Bar’ and finishes with ‘clays’)? What strategies do the big guys like ANZ apply? What about the smaller regional players – what are their priorities in the digital space? Who is the latest digital banking entrant in Canada? Read pp18–21 to find out.
In this issue we are also putting the core banking software space under the spotlight – with a compre- hensive analysis of the key do’s and don’ts of a core banking implementation, as well as a range of case studies, based on the interviews with the project participants who don’t hold back on sharing their experience.
As always, our team welcomes our readers’ feedback. And of course, best wishes for 2016 from everyone at IBS Intelligence and Cedar!
