The BIG Travel Trade Event is back - albeit slightly different! The safety and security of all delegates and attendees is our priority throughout the 2 days, so even though the event may be slightly different logistically – we aim to deliver the same results – bringing the industry together and giving travel companies the opportunity to re-educate and update travel agents on new protocols, new ways of working and building confidence for selling now and in the future.


It’s still the ideal event to showcase travel brands and products to all Northern Ireland Travel agents and the most cost effective way to see your key clients all under one roof and reaffirm relationships.


In addition to the Health and Safety measures we are striving to undertake, we are introducing some new elements to help reeducate, build confidence and get the industry back together again. The exhibition will be a controlled one way system, with less stands. But you will still be able to chat with your trade partners and clients in a socially distanced manner. sectors of the industry to inform, educate and build confidence in our industry in this recovery period. The forum will cover topics from Financial security, Travel Regulation, Trade Relationships and Industry Recovery Plans with seven different presentations over he two days with a panel of industry experts. The speed networking sessions will change to adhere to socially distanced guidelines - and will instead be informative presentations from each of our travel suppliers over the two days. So, agents will still get the training, updates and interactions with key travel suppliers.


The gatherings and social aspects will be


slightly different, with no formal dinners & we are working closely with the hotel to ensure all guidelines are being followed. Visit USA will host a lunch on Day 1 with a business lunch on Day 2. Government guidelines at the time of the event will be adhered to. We’re making use of the outdoor space a lot more with the Jet2holidays Event on night one taking a different format and Palladium Hotel Group being our brand new sponsors for evening two with the Alternative Awards on hold to next year.

There will be various Topics covered in the brand new BIG Travel Trade Event Industry Forum 2020, with key note speakers and a panel of industry experts giving advice and answering your questions over the two days. (Speakers will be announced soon). Travel Industry topics to be covered will


reflect the current situation and the recovery measures needed for the industry in Northern Ireland.
