CELEBRATE TEACHERS! ANNUAL TEACHER APPRECIATION

The Ardmore Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Commerce Foundation, Inc. recognizes that education and the teachers who provide it are crucial to the success of our community. In the spirit of cele- brating our teachers, the Foundation is partnering with XTO Energy to hold the 17th Annual Teacher Appreciation Reception on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 5:30 PM at the Ardmore Convention Center.


All area school districts (Ardmore, Lone Grove, Springer, Dickson, Plainview) as well as Oak Hall, SOTC and the Barbara Bush Literacy Corp are invited to attend.


Teachers of the Year for 2016-17 will be recognized at the reception. In addition, special recognition will be given to all teachers in attendance who will be retiring at the end of the school year. Great door prizes will be given away throughout the afternoon, donated by businesses around the community. The teachers will also be given a $25.00 gift card provided by


the Chamber Foundation, an academ- ic planner for 2017-2018 donated by American Nation Bank and catered refreshments.


Door prizes and volunteers are needed to assist with this year’s event. This is a great way to show our teachers how much we appreciate them and their hard work. If you would like to volunteer or donate a door prize, please contact 580- 223-7765 or sjohnson@ardmore.org.
