Dr Welch is currently working on a project to design and build a 75-bed, purpose- built mental health centre at the Hospital.
BETTER BEDROOM 2 LAUNCH This year’s event will also host the launch of the Design in Mental Health Network’s Better Bedroom 2 on the exhibition floor. DIMHN chair and Better Bedroom director, Jenny Gill, said: “I am delighted that we are able to present the Better Bedroom 2, not just on a plan, but an actual ‘built to size’ bedroom and en suite. We do hope you will visit stand 110 to view it and to leave us feedback.” A presentation on the afternoon of 19 May,

EXHIBITION The exhibition, as always, provides a unique opportunity to collaborate with suppliers, and to view the latest products and services. The organisers said: “At Design in Mental Health, collaboration is key, and so the exhibitors want to know the challenges visitors face in the management of inpatient facilities. Essentially, insight drives innovation in product design and service delivery.” Over the following pages we highlight some of the products to be
shown.in the exhibition, to help visitors get the most from the show.
