PORTABLE GAS DETECTION We offer instruments capable of detecting from one through to seven gases simultaneously, whilst offering an ergonomic form factor that incorporates functionality to accommodate all of your needs, be this datalogging, instrument bump/calibration stations, wireless networking, GPS tracking or man down alarms.

CONFINED SPACE For confined space entry/ four gas applications we provide instruments capable of wireless communication for remote monitoring of users, using the MicroRae and ProRae Guardian software, and others which have battery lives lasting six months. These have been used extensively with our large accounts across the UK which require these enhanced features to monitor for compliance and the incidence of an exceptional circumstance for example release of H2S or explosive gas.
MULITGAS (UP TO SEVEN GASES) We also offer the market leading MultiRAE, which is the most advanced portable chemical detector on the market. It has the ability to monitor up to six gases simultaneously whilst also offering the convenience of wireless portability. The customisable nature of the instrument means you can combine almost any number of gases to suit your need, whether these are toxics, explosives or suffocates. The ability to also monitor radiation (Gamma) means that this is a truly versatile unit. Choose from 25 sensor options including LEL, PID, ND-IR and exotics that can be easily changed in the field. With five built-in alarms, including man down, and wireless connectivity to your command centre, MultiRAE delivers vital information for fast incident response.
FIXED GAS DETECTION Shawcity provides a flexible range of fixed-point detectors. We can design, install, commission and service standard and bespoke systems to suit every environment. Systems are available in flameproof, intrinsically safe or safe area formats as required. Various housing options are available, including weather caps for extreme environments such as wet weather or direct sunlight. We offer both hard wired and wireless systems that can integrate into your current infrastructure (e.g. BMS) and can be located in IS/ATEX zones.
CUSTOM-BUILT GAS DETECTION We also offer bespoke built systems for you specific needs, including remote sampling, breathing air monitoring, environmental chamber monitoring, and so on.
