Kärcher tell us all about its new ‘Just Add Water’ scheme – a fully comprehensive concept that aims to provide cleaning operatives with everything they need to carry out effective floor cleaning.
Renowned for technical machine, and more recently digital management innovations, at the Manchester Cleaning Show in April Kärcher gave us a sneak peek at a new type of innovation for the cleaning giant.
Upfront capital expenditure on machine technology can be a challenging sell – whether to your own financiers or, as an FM or BSC provider, to your end customer. How much easier would it be, therefore, to be able to present full contract costs over a three-year period in advance?
Kärcher’s new Just Add Water scheme allows end users and service providers alike to do just that – providing all the benefits of a fully personalised scrubber dryer cleaning solution for their premises and usage needs at an agreed fixed, monthly cost. And because Just Add Water includes the machine, detergent, consumables, servicing and warranty, it delivers complete peace of mind as well as outstanding cleaning results.
The Just Add Water process begins with a comprehensive site survey from a Kärcher expert to understand and assess the specific cleaning needs. Based on this initial survey, Kärcher will recommend a tailored machine solution, including cleaning head, roller brush or disc pad and squeegee selection. They will also advise the best detergent formula, and calculate dosage rates along with annualised usage and number of full water tanks per week.
This allows them to design the optimal solution and present a fully customised, three-year, all-inclusive finance lease package including warranty, servicing and consumables – providing an easy-life solution with full cost control; all you need to do is ‘Just Add Water’.

the equivalent of 2.3 football pitches on a single tank. You can access all Kärcher’s machine performance, resource efficiency, productivity gains and superior ergonomics – backed up with skilled training, technical and service support – from as little as £11.37 per week.
With labour representing up to 85% of a contract’s costs, it’s important your operatives are using their time productively. Across its scrubber dryer range, Kärcher’s technological innovations ensure time savings in use, from Autofil tanks, to EASY switch one-button operation and the Kärcher Intelligent Key (KIK) system to lock down machine features to the peak settings for each operator, or room within a facility. KIK can even provide machine information in 17 different language settings.
Just Add Water furthers these mechanical productivity savings with a process productivity saving. Designed to keep you cleaning, your operatives can spend time on the task at hand, not ordering consumables, as these deliveries are fulfilled automatically at each servicing visit. Consumable equipment covers brushes, squeegees and detergent – the dosage rate having been calculated at time of survey to prevent costly, often damaging over or under use. These resource savings can be further enhanced with a DOSE detergent metering system and eco!efficiency mode.
Kärcher’s manufacturer warranty covers spare parts, accessories, batteries and chargers, while their skilled service engineers are stationed nationwide.
