Uniform
We have a simple uniform; this consists of a white polo shirt, red jumper or cardigan and black trousers or skirt.
In the Nursery a great deal of time is spent being active outside children should wear trainers or plimsolls. In wet weather they should have Wellington boots and a warm waterproof coat. Children must not wear any jewellery as this can be a health hazard and is also easily lost.
Please ensure that your child’s name is clearly labeled in all uniform, P.E kit, shoes and bags.
We do a wide variety of activities and a lot of these activities involve glue, glitter, sand, mud, paint, dough, water and other various messy materials. We do have aprons for the children to wear but accidents can happen. Because of this each child will need to bring a set of spare clothes in case of accidents. The spare clothes do not have to be uniform but the bag should contain a complete set of clothes.
PE
All children will have at complete P.E lessons a week. In Nursery the children do short activities that focus on balance and agility, they don’t get changed. In Reception one lesson is taken by their class teacher and the other by a professional P.E coach. We expect the children to change independently for PE into a white t-shirt and black shorts or jogging bottoms.
