NEWS\\\ The port of Zeebrugge has
been creating ‘traffic triangles’ between Scandinavia, the UK and southern Europe, taking advantage of its strong position on the Continent. Along with partner ports in Britain, it has signed cooperation agreements with different shipping companies, in particular combining UK markets
with those on the
Continent, Scandinavia, Spain and Portugal. British importers
and
exporters can now transport their cargoes directly, with a single booking, to and from Scandinavia, the Baltic and Spain, Portugal using ro-ro services in Zeebrugge offered by P&O Ferries, Swedish Orient Lines, Finnlines or CLdN to northern destinations such as Gothenburg, Esbjerg, Hirtshals, Kemi, Oulu, Kotka, Rauma, St
Petersburg, and southbound to Santander, Bilbao and Leixoes. All the services are
operated with ro ro vessels that are suitable for a range of commodities, such as trailers, ro ro, containers, new cars, and breakbulk. P&O Ferries has officially
opened its expanded terminal at Zeebrugge which doubles capacity to meet rising demand to and from Britain. From its Zeebrugge hub, P&O Ferries operates services across the North Sea to Tilbury, Hull and Teesport respectively; it also has incoming rail services to the Belgian port from central and eastern Europe. The terminal has now been enlarged by 14 hectares, including a fourth berth and significantly enhanced rail infrastructure. Swedish Orient Lines has recently raised the capacity

ro ro operator in Zeebrugge with strong connections to the UK and Ireland, has also invested heavily in its Scandinavia corridor by renewing its vessels deployed on the route and by increasing its frequency of sailings between Zeebrugge and Gothenburg. In addition, CLdN has added a southbound service from Zeebrugge to Santander (Spain) and Leixoes (Portugal), sailing twice a week. As well as shipping,

In an ever changing
global environment the transportation of HD Class 1 goods is continually becoming more tightly controlled. Every country that you move Class 1 products through will have its own particular challenges.
Port facilities that are open to receiving Class 1 goods are becoming more limited to the total NEQ that they will accept. Due to these constant challenges it is imperative to have a team of knowledgeable professionals that can offer the most efficient service for your requirement. EPC Logistics can be found
