Redcar Bulk Terminal is a deepwater terminal capable of handling large vessels up to Cape Size with a maxi- mum draft of 17.0 metres. The quay is equipped with two gantry cranes with both bulk and hook capability. In
bulk mode they are capable of achieving offload- ing rates in excess of 40,000 tonnes per day. The terminal which is immediately adjacent to the quay is HMRC approved and extends over an area of 320 acres providing both short/long term stor- age for both bulk and conventional cargoes. The terminal is equipped to handle rail wagons with separate on site load and offload bulk handling facilities. The terminal has direct rail access to the National Rail Network and excellent road links to both the A19 and A1(M)
