From north to south, the Land of Lincoln is home to more than 100 wineries, almost 500 vineyards, and more than 100 miles of some of the most scenic wine trails to be found anywhere in the country.
The reputation of Illinois wineries is growing as fast as their grapevines. Whether you are a connoisseur of fine wines or a celebratory sipper, you’ll find that Illinois’ wineries are ripe for exploration.
Our many tasting rooms allow you to fully enjoy wide selections of award-winning wines throughout the state, as well as opportunities to indulge in delicious food pairings that showcase Illinois wine at its best. You can also listen to the many heartwarming stories behind family-owned wineries, and learn about wine-making techniques, too.

This guide lists Illinois’ wineries alphabetically by town. The winery names and offerings are color coded to correspond with the Illinois tourism region in which the winery can be found (see map on page 4). The offerings for each winery are outlined in the key on page 4.
Please note the following before departing on your next wine tasting adventure:
HOURS: Please call ahead or check the winery’s website before departing as wineries can be open limited hours, seasonally or year round.
TOURS: Call ahead or check the winery’s website for tour times/availability and to determine if group tours are available.
