It’s that time of year again to look back on everything we’ve done as individuals, our careers, our companies and our industry over the past year.


Like every year, 2016 has had it’s ups, downs, gain and losses that have affected us in someway. Hopefully, we have all celebrated the ups and gains properly to be sure that we know what the good times are like. It does make the downs and losses so much easier to bear when we properly mourn and acknowledge the bad times. It’s also important to remember that despite how hard we plan and practice, even our best efforts aren’t good enough and that bad times can and do happen when you least expect them.


As a rule, we do know that over a lifetime, IF we keep a positive attitude, acknowledge the good and learn from the bad (never dwell on the negative) that things are more likely to go “our way” rather than the opposite. If we keep a positive attitude, surround ourselves with positive people and work hard for a positive outcome, things usually end up going our way.


It is with this in mind that we hope we can all start 2017 with a positive attitude, surround ourselves with positive people which turnout positive outcomes, we should all have a Happy New Year. Thank you for support of the Nebraska Trucking Association. We truly appreciate the many member companies and the many individuals that lend us their time and talent to help improve the industry that we all love! Merry Christmas from our family to yours!
