Fitness Business Canada (FBC) magazine makes direct contact with Canadian fitness club owners, managers and staff every two months with the FBC magazine, every month with a digital newsletter and every day with our website and product and service directory for those suppliers directly serving the Canadian market.


Our first publication to the fitness industry in the 1990s was under contract with an industry supplier. When their company closed operations, equipment suppliers who liked the magazine came to us with promises of advertiser support if we could start up our own magazine serving the Canadian market. The first issue of Fitness Business Canada was sent to clubs across Canada in January, 2000.


FBC continues to be a family business with established relationships to industry suppliers, club management and staff as well as a history of organizing management and staff training in the early days. We have close working relationships with IHRSA and canfitpro and take pride in having contributed to the founding and growth of FIC, the Fitness Industry Council of Canada.
