Supporters have their say

Thank you to those who responded to our donor survey earlier this year. We received more than 100 responses, and were pleased to read your feedback, encouragement and suggestions about Uniting Communities’ work.

The survey revealed a number of interesting insights: • Over 65% of supporters rate our progress in achieving our vision of building strong and supportive communities in South Australia at 8/10 or higher.

• Lifeline Adelaide (71%), homelessness (66%), support for families (63%), support for older people (59%) and mental health are the five areas of our work that supporters are most interested in.

• More than 55% of respondents expressed an interest in volunteering with Uniting Communities.

• Most supporters find out about our work through the UConnect magazine (64%), or through our appeals (58%).

We appreciate your contributions as we strive to further strengthen our work with the South Australian community.

Would you prefer to hear from us via email?

Many respondents to the survey indicated an interest in receiving communications from us via email.

We are committed to keeping our printing and mailing costs to a minimum, and to reducing our impact on the environment, so we encourage you to let us know if you would prefer this option.

‘You have great programs and initiatives, and once upon a time I volunteered with you and received great training.

It’s now my turn to give back.’ Uniting Communities’ supporter
