A couple of extra days in Hungary’s wonderful capital is a great way to get to know the city better. Visit St. Stephen’s Basilica and take the lift up to the observation deck for some memorable views of the city. Shop with the locals for some authentic Hungarian delicacies at the historic Central Market. Or wander through the streets of Óbuda, the oldest and lesser-known part of Budapest. Once a historical city in its own right, it boasts well-preserved Roman ruins, medieval buildings and Baroque squares.
