The Hampton Roads Messenger 15 A Birthday Celebration for Joe Dudley, Sr.


An impressive business summit took place last month in Winston-Salem NC in honor of Joe Dudley, Sr., founder of Dudley Products, Inc., which was a $35 Million per year company according to a recent news release. Entrepreneurs from all over the world participated in the three-day event that included discussions centered around capitalism, a gala featuring Minister Louis Farrakhan as the keynote speaker and a workshop designed to help entrepreneurs grow their business from zero to 1 million dollars. Joe Dudley, Sr. has personally mentored numerous people who have also become millionaires through entrepreneurship. The event was held to raise funds and awareness for the S.B. Fuller & Joe L. Dudley, Sr. Foundation which exists “For the purpose of educating African-Americans about the virtues of capitalism and the positive effect of entrepreneurship as the vehicle for economic empowerment just as Mr. Fuller and Mr. Dudley have done collectively for over 80 years.”
