AMAL PRE- MONOBLOC CARBURETTOR CONVERSION KIT — Amal have recently re- introduced this old style pre-monobloc carburettor which was fitted to virtually all British bikes in the 1940’s and early 1950’s. As well as the carburettor the throttle cable, choke cable, choke lever, S&B


performance filter and all fixings are included (plus a special CNC machined alloy manifold for the 500cc), This gives a great old fashioned look and gives better cold start control with the multi-position choke. Jetted to suit.

MIKUNI CONVERSION KIT (500cc) — A genuine Japanese made Mikuni carburettor with all the necessary parts to fit the 500 Bullet. It will give improved performance over the standard carburettor. Ideally suited for one of our tuned cylinder heads. The kit comprises of Mikuni carburettor, special alloy manifold, rubber manifold, K&N air filter, throttle cable and spare jets.

Since the introduction of the EFI bikes in 2009, we have been asked by customers if the bikes could be converted to use a carburettor, many felt that the EFI system was too complicated,


would be too expensive to fix and was restrictive to tune.


After much research and development we can offer a carb conversion for all models in the EFI range. This kit comprises an Amal MK1 Concentric carburettor and filter, petrol tap and adaptor plate, cables and necessary gaskets etc. Extensive dyno testing has shown good increases in both torque and BHP to be amongst the benefits.


This kit allows the user to utilise many different exhausts, air filters and other tuning parts on the bike without being restricted by the injection system parameters.

We can also offer a carb conversion for the 535 Continental GT. This is virtually the same as above but uses a K&N air filter which fits inside the existing filter box along with a replacement carb to air filter rubber and head steady brackets.
