RHODIUM Rhodium Diamond Bright Plating Solution, Concentrate


The super bright white reflective surface complements brilliant faceted stones on diamond ring settings. Rhodium is a very hard-wearing corrosion/tarnish resistant solution and so is used universally across the world.

• Good covering speed • Layer thickness up to 5 micrometre can be deposited • Provides a highly scratch resistant coat on jewellery • Plates on all carats of gold, platinum and silver • Very economical solution for finishing • Plate around a thousand ring mount heads depending on the size and surface area • Achieve two-tone effects by lacquering part of the piece before plating. The lacquered surface will not be plated and can be removed afterwards by lacquer remover

• Steam clean your surface before plating to get super bright white finish • Remember the higher the quality of finish and cleanness of the piece improves the quality of the plate • It is necessary to use De-Mineralised Water (C4359) • Two part mix, 2 bottles of 100ml • 2g of Rhodium per 100ml

Plating: • Bath 1 – Electrolytic Salts (C4907), for cleaning prior to plating


• Bath 2 – Gilding Salts, 9ct, 18ct, 22ct, 24ct, Rose & Silver. (See Plating Chemicals)


• Bath 3 – Rhodium (C5620) This bath contains the platinized Titanium Anode for Rhodium Plating


Plating unit can also be used for Anti-tarnishing: • Bath 1 – De-tarn Cleaning Salts (C8207) • Bath 2 –Silverbrite Salts (C8206)
