An 18th century lantern clock with dial inscribed ‘Jonathan Lowndes in ye Pall Mall’, bearing date ‘1680’, the 6” brass dial with brass 5 1/2” brass chapter ring bearing Arabic and Roman numerals, with applied mask and scroll spandrels, the arch with circular roundel bearing date 1680, inscribed on crescent shaped tablet, the 30 hour weight driven movement striking on a bell, with single lead weight and later wooden bracket, 21cm high x 15.5cm wide. £100-200
