Tree for the money Hot job markets to watch in Manitoba this month 1 Landscape labourer
Want to live outside this summer? Can’t say we blame you. There are plenty of jobs to
keep you exerting outdoors. Jobs where you assist with landscape constructions; weed, prune and trim trees; cut grass; rake and col- lect refuse; lay sod or seed; and plant trees are all in demand. While this may sound
like a seasonal gig, there are opportunities to stay on if you make a good impression (clearing snow, for instance). Visit the
government job bank for landscape labourer postings near you.
www.smartbizwpg.com 2 Transit driver Bus operators are responsible for the timely,
reliable, courteous – and above all, safe – trans- port of Winnipeg Transit customers. Eligible candidates must have a minimum of a Grade 10 education, minimum driver’s safety rating of 1, and be able to obtain a Class 2 driver’s licence with airbrake endorsement beginners. Candi- dates must be able to work a variety of shifts, must show mature judgment and a strong sense of responsibility when dealing with the public. Visit
www.winnipegtransit.com or www.win-
nipeg.ca for info on how to apply.
3 Folklorama

materials, customer service and administrative roles, supervising and scheduling, or fulfilling accounting duties on merchandise and admis- sions sales are available. Some staff will be in contact with the public to field inquiries. Send your resume to
postings@folklorama.ca.
