Best of Swift Current
There is a lot of selection when someone is talking about 10,000 square feet so it should be no surprise Voth’s BrandSource was voted Best Appliance Store in this year’s Best of Swift Current online contest sponsored by the Prairie Post. The Voths have been in business since 1988 and all 27 of those years they have been Swift Current and District Chamber of Commerce members. Lorne, Thom and Mark Voth all have
ownership in the business which employs 14 people. “We are excited, honoured and humbled
to win our category,” says Ellery Janz, with Voth’s BrandSource. The 10,000-square-foot store doesn’t just offer customers a good selection of appliances, they also sell furniture, mattresses, bedding and electronics. Inside the business is a Sasktel mobility centre which helps keep clients connected. The space is designed as a “store within a store” and offers the latest in technology as well as all brands Sasktel carries, including Apple products. Janz says the staff help make the family- run business such a success.
“We have an awesome staff who strive to
give friendly, honest customer service, and treat everyone like family so that is feels like coming home.”
Store officials are pleased that people in the City of Swift Current and the southwest corner are so willing to support local family-owned businesses, such as Voth’s BrandSource.

accommodate special orders if people are looking for a specific item that isn’t in stock. Items can also be serviced in-store. “We are again happy and humbled to win, but in the same sentence, we need to keep our feet on the ground to provide the same honest and friendly service we strive to give every day and keep our eye on the trends for new and exciting lines to bring into the store,” says Janz. “We want everyone who shops here to
leave confident with their purchase and with a smile on their face, maybe even a little excited to come back and shop here again,” adds Voth.
