Kersten Neisser (East German Olympic & World Championship winning rower)
Kersten Neisser was born at Halle 4th May 1956. She was a member of the Leipzig Sports Club (SC DHfK) and represented East Germany. As a member of the women’s eight she won gold at the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games. Neisser also won two golds and a silver at World Championships level between 1977 and 1979.
