The parks are listed in this guide by Tourism Region, and more information can be found in the Go Camping Guide and the British Columbia Road Map. These are some of the most popular parks throughout the province.

To help you locate BC Parks, highway signs are posted on main access roads to provide advance notice at 2 km and 400 m from the park entrance.

While opening and closing dates can vary, and may be dependent on weather, most BC Parks will be open May 1 to September 30. The coastal area and more southern parks may be open all year. Please visit www.bcparks.ca or www.albertaparks.ca and be sure to check the Visitor Centres to determine which parks are open along your way.

Camping fees in BC Parks vary according to facilities and services provided. Fees are payable (cash only) to the park operator at your campsite. Some parks have self-registration that requires the registration receipt to be displayed at your campsite.

To reserve a campsite, visit www.discovercamping.ca or call toll-free 1-800-689-9025. Alberta is introducing a “phone-in” campsite reservation service.
