Coast Mountain Circle Route The Coast Mountain Circle Route starts in Metro Vancouver and explores the mountains, forests, and canyons that make British Columbia a world-renowned place of wilderness beauty covering almost 593 km (368 mi). Depending on your pace, the tour can take as little as two days but is best experienced in a more leisurely fashion. You will wind through misty coastal mountains, into the province’s rain shadow and up on to the dry highland plateau. It takes you through historic Gold Rush Country following the path of the gold seekers down the raging Thompson and the Fraser Rivers and finally returns to Vancouver.
