Russell currently rides, trains & breeds dressage horses from his yard in Warwickshire, Moreton Morell. Russell Guire (BSc Hons) is the


founder and lead consultant at Centaur Biomechanics, a company which spe- cialises in horse and rider performance biomechanics analysis. With the use of sophisticated software, namely Quintic, Centaur Biomechanics provides the equine industry with the latest methods and technology in performance analysis as a means of improving the health and performance of both the horse and rider. Russell currently works with the British Equestrian Federation offering gait anal- ysis, working with team physios and far- riers. Russell also works with the riders in the World Class Development Pro- gram, in providing video analysis to all disciplines, dressage, show jumping, eventing, and Para dressage. Centaur Biomechanics & Russell Guire have been commissioned for many research projects from leading companies, covering a vari- ety of topics related to horse and rider performance and soundness.
