Gardens Manitoba: Gardening Saturday Saturday, March 28 to Sunday, March 29 Opens at 9 a.m. NEW LOCATION: Victoria Inn Hotel and Conference Centre 1808 Wellington Avenue The 8th annual Gardening Saturday, sponsored by Manitoba Hydro will be at the Victoria Inn Hotel and Confer- ence Centre on Saturday, March 28. Gardeners of all knowledge levels and skills will discover something new to learn at Gardening Saturday, and what better way to do that than to talk with fellow enthusiasts. Enjoy the offerings of over 100 vendors, grab a bite to eat at the food market or sign up for one of over 15 educational sessions being offered. Tradeshow tickets are $10 per person with seminars and educational sessions, $15 if purchased before the event or $20 at the door. Parking is

Gardens Manitoba: Composting Workshop Tuesday, April 21 at 7 p.m. Assiniboine Park Conservatory Composting is a great way to reduce waste and at the same time reduce your environmental footprint. Learn how to recycle your kitchen scraps and yard waste into a rich natural soil amendment. Learn the benefits of composting, how to get started, key factors for successful composting, and how to use your finished compost. Our speaker will be Jennifer Feschuk of the Green Action Centre. The workshop is free for Gardens Manito- ba members and $5 for non-members.


Grand Forks Gardening Saturday Saturday, April 11 from 8 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Alerus Centre - Free Parking 1200 42nd Street South Grand Forks, ND This year's featured speaker is the renowned gardening and design expert P. Allen Smith. Host of three television programs, P. Allen is also the author of the best-selling Garden Home series of books. The day-long event also includes multiple breakout sessions with local experts presenting a variety of gardening topics. Early birds can register prior to March 26, 2015 online or by mail for $40.
