HIT show Dirty Dancing – The Classic Story On Stage – returns to Wales Millennium Centre from March 17 to 28, starring Carmarthen born Francis Haugen. Taking on his biggest role to date, Fran- cis is to play Robbie as well as understudy for lead, Johnny Castle, in this record-break- ing national tour. Francis, from Rhandirmw-
yn, near Llandovery, trained at Arts Educational School in London. His credits include Singin’ in the Rain (Chiches- ter Festival Theatre); Me and My Girl (Sheffield Crucible) and Legally Blonde (Savoy). Joining Francis in the cast
is Gareth Bailey as Johnny Castle, one of the most iconic roles in popular culture. His other credits include Star- light Express (Germany) and Cinderella (Cliffs Pavilion). Roseanna Frascona will
play Baby Houseman, who discovers love and life in the summer she will never for- get. Roseanna’s credits in- clude At First Sight (UK tour) and The Taming of the Shrew (international tour). Claire Rogers will play Pen-

GARY Lucy will lead a cast that includes Andrew Dunn, Louis Emerick, Rupert Hill, Martyn Miller and Bobby Schofield in The Full Monty which is coming to The Bris- tol Hippodrome from Mon- day 13 to Saturday 18 April. In 1997, a British film about
six out-of-work Sheffield steelworkers with nothing to lose, took the world by storm becoming one of the most successful British films ever made. Now, the boys are back, only this time, they re- ally have to go The Full Mon- ty…live on stage. Simon Beaufoy, the Oscar winning writer of the film,
has gone all theway with this hilarious and heartfelt adap- tation that’s getting standing ovations every night. The production also fea- tures the iconic songs from the film by Donna Summer, Hot Chocolate and Tom Jones. The original production of TheFull Monty won the UK TheatreAward for Best Tour- ing Production and was di- rected by Daniel Evans. Performances are at 7.30pm

DUTCH company De Stilte brings their clever and funny show Flying Cow to theatres across Wales in March. From the start this wonder-
ful show grabs the imagination of their young audiences and takes them into a world of fly- ing cows, floating eggs, feath- ers and friendships. Children will love this show,
which asks them only to use their imagination while the dancers create a world where anything can happen. De Stilte creates dances for children, introducing them to the world of the senses. The company tours world-
wide and has been widely ac- claimed. The show is suitable for chil-

STRICTLYComeDancingjudge Craig Revel-Horwood is to take to the stage as ‘Miss Hannigan’ as a new stage version of “AN- NIE” opens on Saturday July 11 at the Theatre Royal, New- castle before embarking on a year-long tour. The show visits Bristol Hippodrome from Mon- day August 31 to September 5. Set in New York during the Great Depression, brave young Annie is forced to live a life of misery and torment at Miss Hannigan’s orphanage.
