John Birdsall Social Issues Photo Library is a 'people' library with a difference - images taken in the local community of people going about daily life. The majority of the images are model released so are available for commercial and advertising uses as well as editorial. So if you are looking for pic- tures of real people then this is the library for you.


The library is managed by Liz Somerville, who has over 30 years experience in the industry. She is happy to help with your search and will always endeavour to quote within your budget.


As well as individual repro fees, the library also offers annual flexi-licences if you need images throughout the year - these offer fantastic value as the images can be reused during the licence period without having to renegotiate a new fee.


The library specialises in images of British social care, whether the elderly, adults or children. A large number are cleared for more sensitive use, eg mental health issues and adoption. There are also a smaller sub collection covering India and China.
