Christmas at Greenmeadow
Father Christmas arrives to settle into his cosy farm grotto every day from 10am – 3.30pm Monday to Thursday and from 10am – 5pm Friday to Sunday up to and including Tuesday 23rd December.

admission fees apply* plus £2.50 per child to see Father Christmas. We are delighted to welcome school groups, spaces are filling up quickly, please call to book (school prices apply). Other groups of 10 or more can book in advance at a group rate, please call for further details and availability. Our animals will be performing their magical Story of the Nativity every day at 11.30am, no need to book! Join us for our Christmas Celebration evening on Tuesday 9th December at 4pm. Lots of lovely stalls and a very special Christmas Nativity evening performance by the choir of St. Gabrielʼs singing Christmas carols to get everyone in the festive mood and there will be a very special guest appearance. Our cosy Café Cwtch will be serving lovely homemade specials and festive food including turkey, cranberry and stuffing rolls, mince pies and mulled wine…why not come straight from school and make an evening of it? Enjoy a Family Day Out at Newport Wetlands
If you’re looking for a great family day out this Winter, look no further than the Newport Wetlands Nature Reserve. It has it all, ranging from beautiful scenic
walks, where you can explore and spot hundreds of different types of wildlife to an amazing adventure play area for the kids, with a four-metre high replication of the East Usk Lighthouse to climb and have fun in. At the RSPB Visitor Centre you can enjoy a bit of retail therapy with Christmas goods and gift ideas in our shop or have a nice relaxing sit
down, with a delicious bite to eat and a gorgeous coffee with a selection of our festive cakes after your epic day of adventure and discovery. All profits from the shop and cafe go towards conservation. Guided Walks are on the last Saturday of each month, starting at 10.00am. Join us to discover the wonderful wildlife and fascinating history of the Reserve. This is the perfect opportunity to improve your birdwatching skills. A family event: £6.00
