Free children’s activities throughout the year at Salisbury library • Rhymetimes for babies, every Tuesday 10.30am (term time)
• Action time sessions for toddlers/pre-schoolers, every Tuesday 11.15am (term time) • Tot Gossip story and craft sessions for under 5s, 2nd Wednesday of the month 10.30-11.30 • Family Fun Time story and craft sessions for all ages, 4th Saturday of the month 10.30-12.00

Bookstart - free books for young children Every child is entitled to two free Bookstart packs containing free books and helpful information for parents and carers.
The Bookstart Baby Pack is normally given to you and your baby at their eight month health contact and the Bookstart Treasure Bag is given to your 3 year old child at pre-school or nursery (or through a registered childminder) at some point during the year.

Bookstart is a national programme that encourages all parents and carers to share and enjoy books with very young children. Just a few minutes a day enjoying books can make a real difference to your child’s future
Why not join Bookstart Bear Club? It makes visiting the library even more fun for your children, they get stamps in their own passport and collect beautiful certificates, and it’s free!
