The Black Horse Inn at Thurnham is an 18th century freehouse inn with luxury accommodation and a restaurant in a wonderful rural setting tucked beneath the steep face of the North Downs. the restaurant offers an extensive menu and the chefs pride themselves on using the best local produce to give an exciting range of mouth watering English and continental dishes. childrens menu and traditional Sunday Roasts.
The Krishna Indian Restaurant in Headcorn, established in 1990 is housed in a 15th century Tudor building with low oak beams creating a welcoming ambience. The tables are dressed with crisp white linen and fresh flowers. The menu contains all the usual favourites along with light and healthy options.
Liz, the proprietor, said: ‘We listen to our customers, which actually helps us to evolve all the time. Our aim now is to serve food that is fresher and lighter and to buy local produce as much as possible. Why not try our lamb dishes – fresh Kentish Lamb sourced by our local butcher and cooked using rapeseed oil.
