the finale. Born in 2004 and paired with France’s Patrice Dela- veau, he has shown an enormous willingness to perform and has an unbelievable talent for the highest obstacles. In January Patrice and Lacrimoso won the World Cup qualifier in Leipzig, which is impressive as they were together for just over a year at that time. As a six-year old, Lacrimoso was in the final of the FEI World Breeding Jumping Championship. Teir setback may be temporary. Haras des Coudrettes

says about Lacrimoso, “Te selection of horses which could go to the WEG in France is not yet established by the French federation coach. Tat is the reason why we can’t answer your question. Lacrimoso is getting better but we don’t know yet if he will be ready in time for the WEG, and Carinjo is perform- ing really well.”

ranking from April 2014. Tis fantastic stallion was second in the first Longines Global Champions Tour in 2014 at Antwerp. Born in 1999, his rider is Rolf-Goran Bengtsson of Sweden. His groom Celia Rijntjes explains, “We are pre- paring Casall Ask to go the World Equestrian Games. Te Longines Global Champions Tour shows are excellent to keep him in shape. He does not need to jump Nation Cups; he is a valuable team member. He has many good qualities, like a great character, scope and reflexes. I think Rolf and

Casall Ask are a very good combination because Rolf is rid- ing him for the last ten years. Tey know each other very well. Tere are not many horse/rider combinations together for such a long time.”

jumping as of April 2014. Tis ten-year-old gelding is a rising star in the jumping world. Born in 2004, his rider is Julien Epaillard. One of his owners, Caroline Sablereau, explains, “My fam- ily’s company is Cristallo’s owner together with Julien. We are also Julien’s sponsor. I don’t know if Cristallo is going to WEG but I am hopeful since he is continues to develop. His early season start is amazing! Cristallo has a lot of person- ality, is a clown and is a sensitive horse. He and Julien are a great team since he was seven years old.” “Cristallo did not take part in any championship so far but

he has proven several times that he was able to handle compet- ing several days in a row and staying consistent in his results when doing so,” Caroline continues. “He still needs to learn and we are hoping he will carry on like this as he has had a great start to his career this season. Te French team has a lot of very good horses already, but why not add Cristallo to the string of French horses if he keeps up his results during the upcoming shows. And if he does not join the French team this year, we will continue our hard work to be able to represent France in a future championship! We have a lot of hope in this horse; we are confident about his potential and his great atti- tude. He is a warrior and always fights in the ring!”
