This ride is fast, and you can expect to get a little wet in these high-powered boats! The scenery is incredible, and the only way to see it is by boat. This tour includes life jackets, helmets, transportation and a 70 minute speedboat ride.
JET SKI Course
Saturday, 5, 12, 19 & 26 July / 8 - 10 a.m. $40 per person
Get your license to operate the jet skis at the base beach! Each class is limited to ve people, so don’t wait to sign up. Private certi cation course appointments are available based on examiner availability. The minimum age for a jet ski license is 16, and you must have a USFJ POV driver’s license.

Hakkoda ROPEWAY & Summits Hike
Saturday, 12 July / 7 a.m. - 5 p.m. $55 per person
Ride the Hakkoda Ropeway up to the rst summit, and then hike across three summits in the northern Hakkoda mountain range. This is a moderately challenging hike with a distance of eight kilometers. The trip includes transportation, guide, daypack, and Hakkoda Ropeway fare. The minimum age to participate is 12.

Get your license to operate the power boats at the base beach! All participants
must rst complete a FREE online boater’s safety course and present a certi cate of completion to register for this course. Private certi cation course appointments are available based on examiner availability. The minimum age for a power boating license is 18. For information on the online requirement, contact the Outdoor Recreation Center at 226-9378. If you got your license in 2013, there is no need to renew it. All licenses are now good for 36 months!

Family Fun Night at
the Himberg Pool Every Friday (except 4 July) / 6 – 8 p.m.
Enjoy an evening of fun with the whole family at the Himberg Pool. This is the time to bring the super soakers, water pistols, Nerf balls, and small in atables to the pool and cut loose!
Summer Hours The Himberg Pool will switch to summer hours starting 1 July through August. Enjoy extended open recreational swim hours during weekday afternoons!
Sign up at Outdoor Recreation, Hangar 973, unless otherwise noted. No limits apply to the number of seats purchased but payment in full is required at time of enrollment.

10 - 20 July / $475 per person Learn to dive today! The course includes student materials, a mask, snorkel, boots, ns, and gear bag that you get to keep! Equipment rental (BCD, regulator, wetsuit, and weights) is also included. The minimum age to participate is 16.
