Baby swimming... A
t Little Dolphins, babies develop water confidence and specific skills to move towards independent swimming, through their carefully developed Swim Programme.
Little Dolphin classes are based in several locations throughout the Worcestershire and Gloucestershire areas in lovely warm pools. There is clear evidence to show that babies who start swimming around 3 months old are more independent and less fearful of new situations. They also show better results with regard to intellectual performance and have greater precision in motion, better coordination and better balance.
Swimming helps to strengthen your baby’s heart, lungs and most of all it is a fun skill that can be enjoyed together by the whole family and could ultimately save your baby’s life.

What is a forest school? A forest school is one that devises a program of informal learning through being outside in woods and other natural spaces, where children have the freedom to explore and learn about nature and the natural world, stimulating their curiosity & imagination and bringing subjects to life in a real context.
How do they benefit young children? In particular, forest schools can help in the areas of personal, social and emotional development, self esteem, language and communication and so help to build firm foundations for further learning.
