DUBLIN BAY Two day Rally of Traditional Wooden Boats and Yachts at Clontarf Yacht & Boat Club. The Vikings invented a type of boat construction called ‘Clinker’ so all the differing classes of Clinkers from many parts of the country are invited to participate. CLONTARF HALF MARATHON & FIVE-MILE AND JUNIOR Clontarf Promenade and Bull Island Ireland’s flattest half marathon course takes in the Clontarf promenade, the Bull Island and the causeway. The course starts and finishes at the wind monument near the Alfie Byrne Road in Clontarf. A special once off Battle of Clontarf millennium commemorative medal will be presented to all 2000+ participants on the day. There may even be a few Vikings running along beside you!
