ANEWpharmacy in St Julians will be a life-line for people living in the Newport ward. Mayberry Pharmacy has
moved to the new branch on Durham Road to provide the thousands of patients that use the St Julians Medical Centre with a more convenient place to take their prescriptions. The Medical Centre helps hun- dreds of people every week. Up until now, however, patients had to walk to Caerleon Road to find their nearest pharmacy. Mayberry Pharmacy’s new chemist is directly opposite the St Julian’s Medical Centre meaning that patients, in par- ticular thosewho are elderly or have young children, will only have to walk across the road to get their medicines. And to help ensure they don’t
have to wait too long, the chem- ist boasts a multi-pharmacy team, as well as consultation rooms for free health checks, weight loss advice, hearing tests, chiropody and physiotherapy. Experts share information at a business club’s lunch
HOWsafe is your data? was the top of the City of Newport Business Club’s first business lunch of the year. Az Ashraf, founder of Newport
firmA2Z Computing, gave a detailed insight into 31 different kinds of viruses currently trav- elling around the world wide web.
