Members of Boys & Girls Clubs of the Virginia Peninsula will have increased access to educa- tional opportunities thanks to a transportation grant of $20,000 from the Beazley Foundation. The Clubs offer daily programs including home- work assistance and tutoring, workforce devel- opment classes, money management workshops, college preparation sessions, field trips and more,

all of which help young people prepare for suc- cessful adulthood. The grant will enable the purchase of a new van which will increase the number of youth benefit- ting from the educational opportunities offered by the Club. "We are grateful for the Beazley Foundation's incredible support," noted Steven Kast, President & CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of

the Virginia Peninsula. "Transportation of youth to educational program opportunities is an ob- stacle, and this grant will help us provide more access to these programs for young people." Boys & Girls Clubs programs are open to youth ages 6-18. For more information about a Club near you, call 757-223-7204, or visit www.bag- club.com, or www.facebook.com/bagcvp.
