Eco-Friendly Costume Swap E

very Halloween, costumes are purchased, used once or twice and thrown away. In an effort to promote a more eco- friendly holiday, EcoBaby and Home, in North Naples, will host the second annual Halloween Costume Swap. Partici- pants that drop off a gently used costume, mask or accessory before October 11 will receive a voucher redeemable for a different item(s) of the same nature on October 12. Organizers of National Costume Exchange Day estimate

that swapping half of the costumes kids wear at Halloween would reduce annual landfill waste by 6,250 tons, equal to the weight of 2,500 mid-sized cars.
