With the new system concept Architectura the ceramic specialist Villeroy & Boch is presenting a programme that specially caters for the needs of installers, planners and international architects. Architectura offers a holistic, systematic portfolio with innovative solutions and unique 360° service. The modular structure of the product range is clear and easily comprehensible. Architectura guarantees particularly easy installation and maintenance. The minimalist design language of Architectura, created by Oliver Conrad, draws inspiration from basic geometric shapes: the circle, ellipse and rectangle, allowing the planner the greatest possible freedom of interior design.
Three forms of washbasin are available: round, oval and rectangular. Each washbasin can be fitted in three ways: surface-mounted, semi- recessed and undercounter All wash-basins, including the recessed and undercounter, are fully glazed. The washbasins can be perfectly combined with the Cult tap fittings, which are characterised by their successful design with balanced forms, perfect proportions and consistent symmetry.

The innovative urinal with its cartridge ViChange is a functional highlight, allowing the siphon to be changed without the urinal having to be removed from the wall. There is also the option of fitting the urinal with the urinal flush proDetect, which automatically detects users, triggering the flush programme after use.
Also, Architectura presents a WC equipped with the innovative DirectFlush system, which sets new hygiene standards. The system needs no flush rim and has a water con-sumption of only 3 or 4.5 litres, maintaining nonetheless high flushing efficiency. As the open rim is completely glazed the WC can be particularly quickly, easily and asepti- cally cleaned. It is thus ideal for use in places with the most stringent of hygiene re-quirements, such as hospitals or busy public buildings, but also in private homes.
