Salisbury Registration Office is situated in a beautifully restored Georgian building, adjacent to a lovely park, close to Salisbury City Centre.
It will make a delightful setting for you, your family and friends to celebrate the arrival of your new baby with a naming ceremony.
A naming ceremony is non-religious and provides a unique opportunity for a very special ceremony to welcome a baby or an adoptive child into the family, or a step child or step children into a new family unit. Your personal ceremony will be designed to reflect your choices. Promises can be made by the special
people in your child’s future life. Readings, poems and music can be included to enhance your ceremony and you can include the presentation of a special giſt. Our experienced and friendly celebrants will do all they can to help make your ceremony very special.
Wiltshire Council provides Naming Ceremonies in all the county’s registration offices. You can choose Chippenham, Devizes or Trowbridge if Salisbury is not the most convenient. Alternatively we can conduct your ceremony in any of the Council’s licensed approved venues. We can even conduct the ceremony in a local venue, your home or a marquee in the garden, subject to an approval visit and an additional fee.
