ABOUT THE INDEPENDENT PUBLISHERS ASSOCIATION OF ONTARIO (IPAO)


IPAO is a select group of independent publishers of small to medium-sized publications, mostly print magazines, some only online, and some newspapers. Based in Ontario, Canada, we meet in Toronto once a month through the whole year, to have a fine meal and discuss topics of interest. Between meetings, we stay in touch by email to ask questions, give suggestions and share news.


We’re dedicated and passionate about our work. And we’re happy to see others in our industry succeed. You’ll find us to be friendly, approachable and generous about sharing ideas and recommendations. In fact, thanks to information sharing, our members have saved literally hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years.
