New Paint Machine It’s hard to believe that the spark that started it all over 35 years


ago was watching a street vendor use a hand-held router to carve redwood signs. When we produced our first orders, we operated in much the same way. It didn’t take long to see that our unsteady hands stood in the way of producing quality products at an affordable price. Our first CNC (Computer Numerical Control) router was a hulk of a machine more akin to a large church pipe organ than a woodworking tool. With it we’ve been able to mill and carve delicate files many times over at a high degree of precision.


The newest addition to the factory is an automated finishing machine. The unpainted plaques enter one end, where a laser sizes, then adjusts the paint flow to cover precisely the pieces on the line. The final result is faster production, better quality control, and increased capacity. and reused, making the system less wasteful and more efficient.


In addition, 95% of all overspray is collected


We’ve come a long way. Gone are the days of hand routing and racking our freshly-painted products outside. And that’s a good thing - Northeast Ohio just doesn’t have enough sunny days!
