REMEMBERING NORMTASLER Nebraska Trucking members are saddened
by the loss of Norm Tasler, 80, president of Trade Well Pallets of Gretna. Tasler was a frequent participant in association golf events, often with his buddies, Eldon Dokter of Dokter Trucking and Gary Weiler of the Granneman Agency. Tasler died September 20 after suffering a heart attack while… wait for it…on the golf course. His many friends thought it a wonderful way for Norm to depart. He loved to golf and lived to hang out with friends in his favorite Omaha establishments. Along with wife, Norma, he was an avid Creighton Bluejays fan—attending the Creighton basketball lunches at Anthony’s was an important tradition for the couple who had been married for 62 years. Tasler launched Trade Well Pallet in 1978 in Louisville, Neb., with four or five employees. Te company relocated to Gretna in 1986 and currently has close to 120 employees.
