Welcome to our Spectacular Seventh Season full of Tony Award Winners! This season has something to offer for everyone. We begin with “Reza in Rep” which, to my knowledge, has not been done before in quite this way anywhere in the country, and we look forward to bringing these fun, thought-provoking pieces to life. “I Am My Own Wife” is a “singular” one-man tour-de-force. “The Importance of Being Earnest” surely would have won a Tony in its day if it could have. “The Whipping Man” is a relatively new play about a Jewish Confederate soldier who returns home on the day the Civil War ends, which happens to be Passover. Matt Pfeiffer, our guest director, directed the production I originally saw at the Arden Theatre, which was truly riveting.
