Characteristic weakness in striking on both sides, otherwise about extremely fine and one of the classic rarities of the entire series; only one other specimen known

Arguably superior than the only other attested specimen (Dalton plate coin = F.S. Cokayne sale, 1946, lot 223, then considered unique), the whereabouts of which is now unknown
