ABOUT: Tanner made 25 appearances out of the bullpen for the ECU Pirates, making him the most frequently-used arm in the system. He kept his ERA under 3.00,


and tallied eight saves. ECU earned the sixth-seed in the 2012 Conference USA Championships. College teammate to 2010 Muskrats Tyler Joyner, Chris Gosik, and Bryan Bass. Played last summer in the Coastal Plains League.

KYLE MULLEN #26 RHP

ABOUT: The win- ningest pitcher over the last two seasons for the Hawks, Kyle went 6-4 in 2012, with 15 starts and over 105 innings logged. Impressively, he only


walked 21 and surrendered two homers in that span, while striking out 90. That ties him with Hawks alum and current MLB pitcher Jamie Moyer for most strikeouts in a single season. Kyle got the complete game, 5-1 win Friday, May 17, to clinch SJU’s first-ever trip to the Atlantic-10 Championship. He currently plays with fellow 2012 Muskrat Tim Ponto.


PERSONAL: Business major. Born October 2, 1990. Son of Mark and Christine Mullen. Kyle’s dad and two uncles, Tony and Kevin, also played baseball at St. Joseph’s.
