Illinois Adventure Illinois Adventure, hosted by Jim Wilhelm and produced by William Baker, generally airs on Tursdays at 8 p.m., repeating the following Sundays at 4 p.m.
On Ap. 5, Illinois Adventure host Jim Wilhelm takes viewers to the Oriental Institute at the University of Chicago to explore an impressive collection of artifacts from the ancient world. Te program also travels to Rock Island’s Hauberg Civic Center, a unique historical home built in 1909 in the popular Prairie School style - and joins outdoorsman Dan Vinovich on a pheasant hunt at the Lickcreek Game Preserve in Pekin. Ap. 12 destinations include the Illinois Railway Museum in Union, the Gridley Telephone Museum, and the best place to begin when exploring the Cache River. On Ap. 19 we travel to Rockford’s Burpee Museum of Natural History, to the Lincoln Home in Springfield, to Illinois College in Jacksonville to look at a program to save endangered orchids, and to the Illinois Waterway Visitor Center near Ottawa.

Phil Weinberg – A Visionary Tis special tribute—encoring Sunday, Ap. 1 from 4-5:00 p.m.—looks at the life of Phil Weinberg, 1925-2012, philosopher, innovator and founder of WTVP and Bradley University’s public radio station, WCBU. Host H Wayne Wilson reminisces on Phil’s storied life and many accomplishments with Dr. Tom Stewart, retired Bradley Professor of Engineering, Elwin Basquin, retired General Manager of WTVP and Dr. Jeffrey Huberman, Dean of the Slane College of Communications and Fine Arts at Bradley. We also hear from Phil himself through previous interviews.
Interesting People Interesting People with host Ed Sutkowski can normally be seen on the first and third Wednesdays of the month at 10 p.m., repeating the following Sundays at 12:30 p.m. Te series can also be seen each Wednesday from 8-9 p.m. on WTVP World chan- nel 47.2.
