Lydford Gorge, nr Tavistock See the 30-metre high White Lady Waterfall, step out over the bubbling Devil's Cauldron and walk through lush oak woodland and along by the River Lyd as it twists, tumbles and meanders through the gorge.


Open everyday 12 March to 30 October, 10am-5pm (4pm in Oct). Shop, tearooms, play area and bird hide.


The terrain is uneven with steep climbs, vertical drops and slippery underfoot in places.
