A Chinese parcel-gilt bronze figure of Guandi dated 1555, seated on a throne, holding his beard in his right hand and with a fierce expression, the base with traces of red lacquer and with a long inscription to the reverse, which includes the date corresponding to the thirty third year of the Jiajing reign, 17.5cm.
