BORIS KARLOFF MONSTER! TRIBUTE
As part of our celebration of the birth, 125 years ago, of the screen legend, Boris Karloff we present some of his most iconic roles on film in FRANKENSTEIN and THE BLACK CAT. Whilst Karloff played many mad scientists and evil characters, he will always be remembered for his portrayal of the tragic monster.
We also bring you an amazing documentary, KREATING KARLOFF, about actor Conor Timmis, who has been obsessed with Karloff and wanted to make a biopic,
We are delighted that Stephen Jacobs, author of ‘Boris Karloff: More Than a Monster’ (Tomahawk Press), the authorised biography, will introduce the films.
We will be presenting this tribute in two double bill screenings and have also programmed a KARLOFF ALLNIGHTER on SAT 6 MAY from 11.30pm (see page 40)
